What kind of a sick country would kick someone with a giant boot?

So we arrive in Brisbane quite early, we find a hostel. We then spend most of the day figuring out what we are going to do next. We had originally hoped to get further north to Cairns but with it being Easter the price of flights had gone up and were a lot more busy anyway. Instead we decide we'd be better off heading south to Byron Bay and Surfers Paradise.

We spend the rest of the day exploring Brisbane but we are both quite tired after two nights of trying to sleep on a train which didn't go so well and we need to make an early start tomorrow as we head to Australia Zoo!
