Despite the fact we had checked out of the hostel and had nowhere to shower and would have to get a coach to Surfers Paradise later we decided to make the most of the fact it was actually sunny and have a beach day.
The waves were powerful. They knocked you off your feet and threw you around. It was good fun and with the weather looking better for the next few days we decide surfing will be on the cards in Surfers Paradise.
We arrive in Surfers Paradise quite late and crash out.
