The weather forecast for today was really bad. Heavy rain with thunder and lightning. When we get up the weather isn't too bad so we go for a walk up to the lighthouse and the most easterly point on the Australian mainland whilst prepared for some bad weather to hit at some point.
The walk involves a trek through a little bit of rain forest which is really humid and this stupid beard just collects sweat. From the lighthouse we can see black sky on the horizon and we head back expecting that weather to hit us soon. We get lucky and only the edge hits us so we only have to contend with a little rain.
The evening is spent drinking some beers. Wisely we decide not to go out properly as we have to check out at 10am.
